JAPANESE FILM FESTIVAL 2025 UESUGI TETSUYA FILMMAKING WORKSHOP

A collaborative effort between The Japan Foundation, Kuala Lumpur (JFKL) and Canon will be bringing a Japanese filmmaker and Director of Photography (DOP), who has experience in shooting campaigns with Uniqlo, Google, SONY, and TOYOTA – UESUGI Tetsuya.

The workshop for aspiring film students from different local film schools took place from the 4th of September to 6th of September. Its aim was to promote cross cultural knowledge sharing among the next generation of filmmakers as well as to give the new filmmakers access to Canon’s latest cameras.
